Michael specializes in business, entertainment and intellectual property law and has extensive experience in general civil litigation and litigation involving disputes related to trademark, copyright, unfair competition, trademark dilution, trade secret misappropriation, rights of privacy and publicity, and licensing matters both in federal and state court.  Michael also handles all aspects of trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board and regularly counsels entertainment professionals on complex intellectual property questions and business transactions both domestically and internationally.  Michael is also an expert in the ever-evolving field of Internet Law, including cyber-squatting, domain name disputes, and arbitration pursuant to ICANN's Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy.  Michael has been repeatedly selected as a Southern California Super Lawyers' "Rising Star" in the field of Intellectual Property by Law and Politics Magazine.

Michael received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1994 and received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1997.  Michael is a member of the California State Bar, International Trademark Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
